Project Overview
OnQ provided QCx services for hyperscale data center sites in Oklahoma and Ohio. Our Quality Assuance Team included CSA, Electrical, Mechanical, and Low Voltage/IT/Fiber. OnQ Cx SME’s led the review and approval of the QC SSQP, test procedures, and Cx plans against the drawings, specifications, codes and submittals. Issues, significant quality events, and reports were documented in BIM360. OnQ Cx attended all pre-install meetings and attended all First-of-a-Kind (FOK) inspections. Our SME’s also attended factory witness tests on new equipment, witnessed NETA and TAB testing, identification of non-conforming issues and final closure. We provided expert support all Cx activities L1 thru L4 and supported the client operations team for L5 IST’s. OnQ Cx had final sign-off on L2 and L3 tags and provided weekly QA audit reports to the GC and client demonstrating QCx conformance with contract documents.
Challenge
The client encountered significant hurdles in managing multi-year, multi-site data center construction programs in both Oklahoma and Ohio. Specifically:
- Limited organizational experience in executing complex projects of this magnitude.
